build a bear.

A couple days ago while at Disneyland, me and Frankie decided to make build-a-bears for each other. Both of us had made one years back, so it was really fun to do it not only again, but with each other. I made a girl bear for him and he made a boy bear for me. In the beginning of this adventure we were going to try and surprise each other, so we had to stay at complete opposite sides of the store. Well that got hard and complicated, so we ended up making them together. It was a lot of fun.
It's crazy to see how many accessories they have for these bears. Guitars, boxers, underwear, strollers, hats, bow ties, robes, backpacks, even WIGS! One bummer was that almost half of the selection of clothes for boys were jerseys for either basketball, football, or baseball. But we ended up making a fine selection. We were in the store for maybe an hour, possibly longer. It was a blast.

Finished.

My only regret: not taking more pictures.

a one year celebration<3

This past friday Frankie and I celebrated our One Year Anniversary. It was wonderful. Every part of the day was perfect.
I sent him on a scavenger hunt, to all place that are significant to us. At each location there were people waiting for him to give his next clue, and also a word that was scrambled up that he had to put together at the end that would send him to his last destination..

{House of Blues at Downtown Disney}

{In-N-Out}

{A park by my house}

{IVC Parking Lot}

What he didn't know is that the words at each spot, were already separated, he just had to unscramble them and put the words together. But instead, he mixed all of them up, so it took him longer to figure the whole puzzle out..but I knew he could do it.
What it says: SOMEWHERE ONLY WE KNOW
location: A little spot on the beach...somewhere only we know ;)

And that, is where I was waiting for him.

We took pictures and talked about our adventures on the way over. Then we walked back to the car and I gave him this: A huge photo collage of pictures of us from this past year. [without the frame.]

We dropped one of the cars off so we could take one car, and went to BJ's for lunch. Before we went in, he gave me this journal. A journal he has been writing in for the past 100 days. Each and every note written out to me. In.credible. I still haven't read through all of them, but I'm so excited to finish.

After lunch we went back to my house. We each have our own boxes, both containing things that the other has given them, or things like movie tickets or concert tickets. We went through those boxes and basically reminisced about things from the past year. It was really nice. I did some touch up on my hair and make-up and we made our way to his house so he could get ready for the night.

I had absolutely no idea about anything that was planned that night. Everything was a surprise.

Our first pit-stop: Evocal. This is the place where we first started talking to each other. This is where, it all began.

After that we pulled into a parking structure, and kept driving down into lower levels. The first thing he said was, "It's not what it looks like." haha. On the walls there were arrows pointing "To Marina." So, i kind of figured it had something to do with a boat?
Little did I know, my wonderful boyfriend was taking me on a gondola ride.

Everything was so pretty, the outside and the inside. It had swans all over and on the inside it had a nice seating area with cushions and pillows, and blankets incase it got cold. Also on the inside, was a table, and on that table was rose pedals, candles, apple cider, and chocolates. It was amazing.

A little into the ride, Frankie told me how much he loved me. Told me he wanted to spend the rest of his life with me, and how he was going to do that. He said that he wished he could have proposed that night, but since he couldn't, he had something for me. He told me to close my eyes so he could bring this out:

A promise ring. A promise, that one day we will get married, and we will spend the rest of our lives together. I was so shocked, all I could say was, "It's so pretty!"

After the ride, our, "gondolier", if you will, insisted on taking pictures. He posed us in these 4 pictures, though I must say, he did a great job ;)

After the gondola ride, Frankie said we should take a walk, so we started in the opposite direction of where we parked. Earlier in the night I asked if there was anything else planned, he wouldn't tell me. As we were going on this "walk" we passed a very nice restaurant and he mentioned wishing we could eat at a place like that, you know, like all the "rich people". I said we should get something to eat. He replied by saying, "We could do that...or we can eat here" and opened the door to "the nice restaurant": Chart House. I just laughed and looked at him in amazement. He totally tricked me to thinking the night was over. Even then though, me prety much knowing he must have made reservations, he tried to play it off like I didn't know. He said, "I just want to see how long the wait is." When the hostess came up to the counter she asked if we had reservations, he said Yes.
Everything at this restaurant was absolutely amazing. It was so good! Even down to the arnold palmer! I got Rosemary Herb Crusted Chicken, with mashed potatoes. And also some coconut covered shrimp. Frankie ordered a steak, with mashed potatoes, and also some crab legs, even though he had never tried them before. They ended up tasting wonderful. I found out I like crab. ha

This lovely desert that takes 30 minutes to prepare.

The whole night was phenomenal. I can't believe anything. I still want to go back and relive that whole day. My boyfriend is amazing.

I love you baby<3
